Pain Management for Pets

Here at Lakeland Animal Clinic, we use cold laser therapy to keep your pet pain-free. This technology uses a high-tech lamp which uses electrochemistry to generate beams of light. The lamp is held over the area of the animal where they are feeling pain for about 30 seconds, emitting soothing rays.

When applied over time, your animal will begin to feel better with less pain. The laser desensitizes the area while reducing the pain. If your pet isn't a candidate for cold laser therapy, we also offer traditional ways to manage their pain.

Uses for Cold Laser Therapy

  • Arthritis
  • Back pain
  • Chronic ear infections
  • Chronic pain
  • Joint pain and stiffness
  • Muscle, ligament and tendon injuries
  • Post-surgical wound healing and pain
